SonLight Power is excited to present our new logo with a fresh look, vibrant color scheme and updated symbolism to tell our story.
Our logo redesign was a diligent, patient and prayerful process that took more than two years, starting with the recognition that we needed an updated representation of clean, sustainable energy to replace the incandescent light bulb on our old logo. The solar panel was the logical choice – it is the one physical piece of architecture we leave behind everywhere God takes our mission.
The new logo emphasizes the reference to the “Son” in SonLight Power, driving home our spiritual mission of sharing the saving love of Jesus with the very lives and communities we are empowering with electricity, often for the first time.
From now on, you’ll see our new logo and tag line - “Solar Energy for Life” - on all our communication materials and on the backs of our volunteers’ shirts as they serve in the field.
It was time, after nearly 15 years, to refresh our logo - inspiring a renewed sense of purpose and adventure. Our mission remains the same. Our commitment has not changed. The need continues to be urgent and we are blessed with a growing circle of partners and supporters.
